On 3–6 December 2019, Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow will host Russia’s largest exhibition of the year — the 16th International exhibition of equipment and technologies for woodworking and furniture production Woodex. The event is organised by HYVE GROUP.
The participants of international exhibition Woodex will exhibit their equipment and technologies for woodworking, furniture production and wood waste utilisation. The exhibition is held every other year and is the largest industry-specific business platform in Russia.
Every year, over 9,000 executives and specialists from 77 Russian regions responsible for procurement decisions attend Woodex to pick up the equipment for their production needs, explore the latest trends in woodworking and furniture production, and have as many face-to-face meetings with directors of the exhibitors as possible over the course of 4 days.
This year, 350 Russian and foreign companies from 27 countries worldwide will take part in the exhibition, and the companies from Italy, Germany, China, Turkey, and Finland will exhibit together as part of national pavilions and expositions. These include such global leaders as Biesse Group, Cefla, Dieffenbacher, Felder Group, IMA Schelling Group, SCM, Siempelkamp, Weinig, Wintersteiger, etc.
124 companies — 3T GROUP, ALB-Group, Apollo, Masterwood-Stanki, Mossklad, Adhesive Systems, Novatsiya, Raute, Ronar Russ, AMF-Bruns, E.H.W., CEDRUS SPOLKA, FinScan, Liebherr, Patent Makina, RM Industrial Machinery, Robart Makina, Terex Deutschland, Utensil Centro Russia, Veisto, China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA), etc. will make their debut at the exhibition.
Traditionally, many exhibitors prepared new items of equipment that will be presented in action.
For the first time in the Russian market, MDM-Techno will display NPC Energy Saving press from Italy’s Ormamacchine — a manufacturer of equipment and materials for furniture production and repair, as well as fillers, varnishes, paints, pickling solutions, primers, and timber profiled facing lines. The company’s stand will introduce Buldog 5 wide-belt sander and Final brushing machine.

The stand will display a high-line model in terms of the colour set — CMYK Lc Lm White Varnish. This configuration enables top-quality images on any flat surfaces from different materials and simultaneous printing in white and coloured ink and varnish.
Extru-Tech will exhibit its lamination units that can be used with PVC, aluminium, MDF, wood, laminating film cutting machines, bending machines, extrusion screws and cylinders, extrusion lines and tools, pneumatic suction devices, feed supply, drying, and dosing systems, spare parts and components for extrusion lines, mixers, lamination units, and mills.
Techpribor will present the new Scarabey brand — small-size automated granulation lines for plant raw material. The advantage of the Scarabey line as compared to similar equipment is high efficiency, fire safety, and low metal intensity.
Firefly AB will present its recent engineering innovation — the new release of Eximio software supporting the interface of legacy systems.
Record Power’s stand will introduce and demonstrate a variety of woodworking equipment items in action: a line of woodturning lathes, vertical band and circular woodworking saws, thickness-jointing machines, oscillating and hybrid sanding machines, along with chip suction units, tool grinders, etc.
Biesse — the sponsor of the exhibition — will present CNC machining centres, panel sizing saws, edge banding machines, wide-belt sanders, and drilling machines.
